This is a special place – you will feel it when you walk in the door. Bill Redinger, the owner, is just a stellar human being, a truly caring person who is in this to turn lives around. Every person on staff shares his philosophy. I will never forget the kindness of Dawn, the office manager, the day I first called looking for help. She and Bill even came in on a Saturday just to meet with us! Our family is forever indebted to Mike, one of the counselors. He is a scholar on addiction and recovery, has a heart a mile wide, and does not give up on people. All of the counselors at New Life are spectacular. No shaming or blaming – just compassion and a tangible path to recovery from people who know what they’re talking about.
It’s said that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety – it’s connection. New Life nails that – these people are with you. You should see the stream of people stopping by – clients, alumni, family members – to hang out, check in, or soak up the vibe. I cannot recommend New Life Recovery highly enough. These people are genuine, they understand addiction, and they will help you get to the other side.
